Coles NPC Supplier Onboarding
Global standards enable suppliers to submit changes and new items, that are accurate and reliable, to their retail trading partners; this automated process replaces the traditional manual based forms.
Part of Coles Supermarkets’ business strategy is that all suppliers actively work to become NPC compliant. Electronic synchronisation provides good quality data and minimises errors as a result of re-keying.
Data is used in the retail operations of various brands at Coles including Coles Supermarket, Coles Liquor and Coles Express. This data is also visible in the online channels such as Coles Online and Coles App providing product, pricing, provenance together with health and safety information for consumers.
Information such as Packaging Recycling, Button Batteries (a direct extract from GS1 platform), Container Deposit Scheme and Country of Origin supports consumer safety, environment protection and adherence to compliance laws.
